DAAD graduate scholarship (1997-1999), Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship (research stays since 2008 at the Universities of Stuttgart, Berlin and Munich), Dimitrios Lambadarios Prize from the Academy of Athens for research work in Geodesy (2012). Since 1999 chair and member in different committees and Special Study Groups of the International Association of Geodesy (IAG). Research interests include the exploitation of contemporary satellite data and the investigation of potential theory methodologies for gravity field modeling and interpretation.
