She graduated from the Department of Architecture Engineering AUTH (1999) and from the MSc “Environment and Development” NTUA (2003). She received her PhD from NTUA (2012). Since 2014, she is Laboratory Teaching Staff at the Dep. of Cadastre, Photogrammetry and Cartography, AUTH, focusing on Urban and Regional Planning. From 2005 to 2013, she was Lab. Technical Staff at MIRC and the MSc “Environment and Development of Mountainous Areas” of NTUA, focusing on research and education for the development of mountainous areas, where she still remains as collaborator. She worked as a freelance architect engineer (2000-2005). Since 2008, she teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses at R&S Eng. AUTH and the MSc of NTUA. She has participated in international and Greek conferences, has more than 50 publications in scientific journals and conferences, has participated in 10 research programmes, she is co-author of two academic books (KALLIPOS): “SPATIAL PLANNING. Technical, Legal and Economic Dimensions. Emphasis on Mountainous and Marine Space” and “MOUNTAINS. Natural Environment and Societies. Mountainous Greece“, she is reviewer in scientific journals. In Oct. 2023 she participated as visiting prof. at the MSc “Valorization and Sustainable Development of Mountain Areas” of UNIMONT University, in Italy.
