The independent authority of the Student Advocate has been established and operates at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

The purpose of the authority is to mediate between students (undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral) and professors of all levels or administrative services.

The Student Advocate ensures the observance of legality and academic ethics and order within the framework of academic freedom and the treatment of maladministration phenomena with the aim of safeguarding the smooth operation of the Institution.
